It's a...!

BOY! We found out our little one, is going to be a boy at our last doctor's appointment and we couldn't be more excited! I have already bought some little man clothes that look too cute for words. I had a strong feeling pretty much the whole pregnancy that I was going to have a boy and so I can't say I was super surprised when we found out. It was more like a happy confirmation of my suspicions. Today I have an interview for a better job with better hours. If I get it, it will turn out to be so much better for our little family. In other exciting news, Chris and I finally found a boy name we both like; Noah Michael England. I think it's a nice name that flows and it honors my oldest brother Michael who is probably one of the kindest people I've ever known. I can only hope my son will have a bit of him in him.

Baby is 17 Weeks:

Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — his lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and he's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. He can move his joints, and his sweat glands are starting to develop.

Please keep growing healthy and strong, baby boy! I can't wait to start feeling you move. They say it should be any week now. You are more of a sleeper (which is OK!) at all of our ultrasounds so far but a little kick or flutter here or there would help reassure me that you are doing just fine in there. We love you little Noah.
